“A remnant will return, a remnant of Jacob will return to the Mighty God.” Isaiah 10:21
Throughout the Bible we find record of a remnant of people dedicated to God in the midst of corrupt cultures. We are a people set apart for Gods purposes, and we refuse to soften the message of the Bible in order to make it more culturally acceptable. Are you part of the Remnant?
Our church doesn’t exist only for itself, or even for the sake of those attending. Not only do we exist to support each other in answering the call of God, but we spiritually support many ministries and churches around the world through CrossFire International Alliance.
“Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy. ” 1 Cor 14:1
We believe and have experienced time after time that God still speaks to His people today. Prophecy is seeing what God sees, hearing what God is saying, and speaking His truth into a person, through a prophetic act, or through a circumstance. In teaching about spiritual gifts, the apostle Paul said that we should eagerly desire to operate in all the gifts, but especially the gift of prophecy. Why? Because it is a gift that God designed to build others up. We are strengthened, encouraged, and comforted through prophecy. Prophesy is a gift given by the Holy Spirit. 1 Cor. 14:3 says that “he who prophesies speaks to men for their strengthening, encouragement and comfort.” 1 Cor. 14:39 says to “be eager to prophesy.”
The Last Days
The ‘Last Days’ has the broad context of the dispensation beginning with Pentecost when Peter repeated the scripture from Joel 2:28. ‘And it shall be in the last days,’ says God, ‘that I will pour out My Ruach on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams. Acts 2:17 TLV. It began the kingdom era under the New Covenant. There is a second narrower context for the ‘Last Days’. As Earth time winds down we see a clashing of kingdoms as the devil goes about devouring and overtly attempting to expand his kingdom before the second coming of Christ. These are the times when evil accelerates through earthly rulers and events spoken of in Matthew chapter 24. Jesus reveals the signs of what is called ‘the end of the age’, or the last of the last days. There will be great conflict, chaos and persecution globally. Jesus said these signs are the ‘birth pains’ of the end of the age. We are now experiencing those ‘birth pangs’
