Sunday morning service time
9:45 AM Intercessory Prayer or Fellowship
10:15 AM Morning Service
Sunday mornings are only a portion of the ministry that takes place at Crossfire, but they are the most unifying because we all love to see our church family. We love to see new faces as well! If you are new to us, feel free to come a few minutes before service to enjoy a cup of coffee and meet some wonderful people. Sunday school for children ages 4-12 is available, as well as nursery care for children ages 0-3. Our services run longer than most churches because we want to give God all the time He needs to do what He has planned for the week. Our conclusion times differ from week to week, usually around 12:30 PM.
Our Sunday services are at our physical meeting place (3001 S. Acoma St.) on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of the month. The 2nd, and 4th Sundays are Zoom only meetings. Zoom is available during the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays as well for those who would like to participate remotely. If you would like to be added to the email list to receive Zoom call details, please contact Harvey to get the zoom details.
“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.” ~John 4:23
We believe in freedom in worship. Our worship service is designed to allow open communication between God and His people. We often begin worship with a time of testimonies for people to speak openly about what God is doing in their lives. You will have opportunities to worship God with your tithes and offerings. Our praise and worship as expressed through song is an important part of our call as a church: it facilitates expression of our love for the Lord, and opens our hearts to hear His Word. The Lord’s primary Word to us is the Holy Bible. The Lord also speaks to us through the spiritual gifts given to believers to edify the body of Christ. In any one of Crossfire’s worship services you may experience or witness the use of the gifts of the Holy Spirit as outlined in 1 Corinthians 12:4-11: the message of wisdom, message of knowledge, faith, gifts of healing, miraculous powers, prophecy, distinguishing between spirits, speaking in different kinds of tongues and interpretation of tongues. All of these gifts, when used, are measured against the Bible for accuracy. When it comes to worship, we are not bound by the traditions of men (Mark 7:8); rather, “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free!” (Gal. 5:1)
