The Value of a Public Testimony
Charity and Jay Randolph share their testimony at Crossfire. I know that everyone has awesome times of challenge, testing, growth, deliverance, healing, perseverance, and transformation of mind and heart in our lives. It is in these stretching times that the Lord brings forth the gold and silver, the substantive things with eternal value, and we reflect His nature and image in a greater way. Every test and every testimony will be different reflecting the many faceted aspects of the Father’s…

It’s Not About Being In Ministry, It’s About Being in Him
This week I’m talking about hearing the voice of God. We must be available, willing, and humble to hear His voice consistently. Here’s one last thought on being willing before we move on to being humble. Many years ago I heard God’s voice calling me to be a pastor, but I hardened my heart toward that voice and that call. I offered my services in the local church, but did not like what I saw in the ministry. I did…

Visit Crossfire This Sunday
This week I’ve been talking about hearing the voice of God. Do you have difficulty hearing the voice of God? Can you distinguish His voice from your thoughts? In the coming weeks I will be teaching how to hear God’s voice. One of the key elements of hearing it is being available to hear. If you want to get in on this series of messages, come to Crossfire in Centennial, Colorado. We will teach you how to hear and be…

Purpose to Hear Him, Even If It Is Not What You Want to Hear
Several years ago, my wife and I were trying to decide if we should move from a small town into the big city of Denver. It was gut wrenching decision for me. I liked the small town, rural lifestyle. I didn’t want to move. However, I knew that God the Father would have a plan and would speak to me about this decision. I decided in my heart to make myself available to hear His voice. I decided to be…

Visit Crossfire, A Church Based In Grace and Humility
This week I’m talking about last days leadership and the issue of entitlement. A leader must function from a strong sense of humility and yet operate in power and authority. A Godly leader will never walk in the fullness of his or her calling unless they can be both humble and powerful. Jesus did. Paul did. So can you. If you’ve enjoyed the last three weeks of challenge and encouragement on the subject of entitlement, you’ll enjoy our church, Crossfire.…

Crossfire Expresses Grace, Not Entitlement
This week I’m talking about last days leadership. Many people in church leadership have taught us that because we are Christians we are entitled to blessing, entitled to prosperity, entitled to health, entitled to anything we want. That teaching creates an “entitlement attitude.” Jesus taught and lived from a position of grace. He offered us a new attitude where we can receive what we don’t deserve: God’s blessing, God’s love, God’s forgiveness, and God’s favor. We receive it not because…

Crossfire Embraces the Five-Fold Ministry Gifts
Eph. 4:11-13 tells us the role of the five-fold ministry gifts of pastor, apostle, evangelist, teacher, and prophet in building up the body of Christ. The purpose of these gifts is to prepare God’s people for work in the church, which leads to believers fully embracing all that Jesus is. If you’re looking for a church where these ministry gifts are all present, try Crossfire in Centennial. We have a small body of believers, many of which are powerfully gifted.…

There Is Freedom at Crossfire
This week I’ve been talking about Jesus-centered leadership. Giving of yourself is part of Jesus-centered leadership. Jesus told his twelve closest leaders, the apostles, very clearly in Matt. 10:8 “Freely you have received, freely give.” If you’re looking for a church where leadership gives freely, try Crossfire in Centennial. Our pastors and leaders experience freedom in grace and freely give of ourselves. Freely we have received, so freely we pass that on to you. We have prophetic teaching, worship, and…

Come to Crossfire And Get Refueled!
This week I’ve been talking about doing good. As Christians, we know we are supposed to do good things that reflect God’s nature. Doing good can burn emotional and even physical calories. It takes energy to do the good things we are called to do. In the process we may get weary and tired. If you’re looking for a church where you can get refueled and energized, try our church in Centennial. We have a prophetic edge, vibrant worship, challenging…

Crossfire Understands Power and Love Are Parallel
This week I’m talking about Jesus-centered leadership and His authority. In Matt. 28:18 Jesus said “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” Jesus passed that authority on to us, His church. Jesus-centered leaders lead from a position of grace, compassion, love and power. We understand that the power of God and the love of God are not mutually exclusive–they are parallel aspects of Jesus-centered leadership. If you’re looking for a church where there is Jesus-centered…

Crossfire Focuses on Sending Capacity, Not Seating Capacity
This week I’ve been talking about my recent ministry trip to Vietnam and how awesome it was to share a little bit of our abundance with the people of that country. Reaching the unreached people of the world is a major focus of Crossfire. We have a small, intimate church that has reached over fifteen countries with the good news of Jesus! We support children’s homes in Africa and Asia. We love to send people to the far ends of…

Is There a Labor of Love You Can Do?
I recently returned from a ministry trip to Vietnam. What a trip! A team of nine people from Crossfire built two homes, ministered to children, and brought God’s word to hungry people. Crossfire raised money to buy materials for one home while our ministry partner in Asia raised a matching amount for the second home. Two very poor families wanted to replace their shanties with clean, sanitary shelter. Our team worked with local college students replacing shanties with beautiful homes…
